TITLE MOSASAUR JAW AND TEETH IN MATRIX
DESCRIPTION Five large fossilised teeth and part of the jaw bone of an extinct Mososaur is a key specimen for anyones collection. These are presented in their original matrix which is housed in a simple plaster support. Monosaurs are an extinct marine reptiles and a dominant marine predator from the late Cretaceous period, some 70 million years ago. They were carnivores, some seventeen metres in length, who swam and stalked their prey.
