DESCRIPTION Lambis lambis whose common name is the spider conch, is a species of large sea snail that is widespread throughout the Indo West Pacific and feeds on red algae. It is a large and robust shell with an attractive glazed pink interior. This example is male since the females have longer "fingers". A distinctive shell for any collection or interior design project.
