TITLE VETENARY FLEAM
DESCRIPTION Phlebotomy or blood letting was practiced as far back as the fifth century B.C. This instrument is a Victorian vetenary fleam and comprises of a brass case containing three different sized blades. Each steel blade is stamped with a star, a crown and the name OATES. Though used for animals the smallest blade was often used on human patients.
