TITLE FROG SHELL
DESCRIPTION With its strong shape and colour, Bursidae is commonly called a Frog shell, because of the similarity to the warty skin of some frogs. Its beautiful and intricate design is completely covered in heavy calceous growth to provide camoflage protection from other marine preditors. Living in tropical warm seas under coral, it consumes sea worms.
