TITLE GRAPE STORAGE BOTTLE
DESCRIPTION The device was employed to prolong the life of cut grapes so that they could be eaten at Christmas in the big house. It was filled with water and a little charcoal and the stem of the grape inserted. The glass is marked "Coppedhall Grape Storage Bottle Patent applied for. No 25963" "Wood Green. WM Wood and Sons Ltd"
