Antiques for the Garden

TITLE ASPARAGUS KNIFE
DESCRIPTION This seemingly simple garden tool was designed for cutting the asparagus crop. It is a shape particular to the Vale of Evesham, Worcestershire where many acres were put down to asparagus growing to supply the London markets in the Edwardian period. It is now a very rare tool and I have only had a very small number in the 29 years of trading even though I live close to Evesham.
