This small hardback book was published by the Daily Mail around 1910, and runs to 62 pages plus 8 black and white illustrations. Its sub title is "A Diary and Manual of Intensive cultivation" and was written by C.D. McKay FRSA.
It is of great local interest since it promote the new system of intensive cultivation under glass of "French Gardening" employed by growers in the Vale of Evesham at that time. It clearly was successful as the Vale is still famed for its market gardens and quality produce.
