TITLE STRANRAER CREAM BLACK TRANSFER
DESCRIPTION "Pure Fresh Cream from the Wigtownshire Creamery. Stranraer." is what this modest hand thrown pot proudly proclaims. However the small print goes on the say "This cream contains a small proportion of boron preservative to prolong its sweetness." The black transfer prints depicts a milkmaid holding her milking stool in one hand and a wooden luggie in the other. Luggies were coopered form used for carrying milk. A smart piece of point of sale advertising.
